01
Mission
Blevins Defense exists to develop disciplined, scalable capability
for defense and government requirements where technical execution,
manufacturing readiness, supply-chain coordination, quality,
documentation, and program accountability must operate together.
The platform is being developed to support authorized customers
across the capability lifecycle — from research and early
technical development through prototyping, integration, production
planning, manufacturing, procurement, and lifecycle support.
Capability should be designed for execution, not simply demonstration.
Our approach emphasizes the practical requirements necessary to
move a capability from concept toward repeatable, supportable,
and contract-ready operation: engineering discipline, production
planning, qualified suppliers, documented processes, quality
controls, technical integration, and appropriate enterprise
support.

03
Manufacturing & Production
Manufacturing capability is developed around the requirements
necessary to produce repeatable, documented, inspectable, and
supportable work under an authorized program or contract.
Production Planning
Development of production flows, work sequencing, resource
requirements, manufacturing documentation, inspection points,
material needs, and production-readiness considerations.
Components & Assemblies
Capability development may include component-level and
assembly-level production work supported by documented
specifications, approved materials, manufacturing processes,
and applicable acceptance requirements.
Manufacturing Readiness
Preparation for repeatable production through process
definition, supplier readiness, tooling and equipment
planning, workforce requirements, documentation, and quality
controls.
Inspection & Quality
Development of inspection, acceptance, nonconformance,
corrective-action, records, traceability, and other
quality-management practices appropriate to the applicable
program.
Production Transition
Coordination between development, engineering, suppliers, and
manufacturing functions to support transition from prototype
or early technical work toward repeatable production.
04
Engineering & Development
Technical development supports the progression of authorized
requirements from concept and definition through prototype,
evaluation, integration, and production planning.
Requirements
Technical Definition
Translating program and operational needs into defined
technical requirements, interfaces, documentation, and
development objectives.
Design
Engineering Support
Design coordination, technical review, configuration
discipline, documentation support, and engineering work
associated with capability development.
Prototype
Prototype Development
Planning and development of test articles, prototypes,
proof-of-concept configurations, and other early-stage
technical representations.
Test
Test & Evaluation Support
Test planning, technical evaluation, data collection,
documentation, issue identification, and iterative capability
refinement.
Configuration
Technical Baselines
Configuration identification, change discipline,
documentation control, and maintenance of technical baselines
appropriate to the stage of development.
Transition
Production Readiness
Coordination of engineering, manufacturing, suppliers,
documentation, quality, and program requirements as a
capability approaches production.
05
Systems Integration
Defense capabilities frequently depend on the successful
integration of components, technical interfaces, digital systems,
supporting infrastructure, documentation, and operational
requirements.
Blevins Defense is developing integration capability focused on
coordinating those elements into supportable configurations rather
than treating individual components as isolated deliverables.
Interface Coordination
Definition and management of technical interfaces between
components, assemblies, systems, infrastructure, and
supporting processes.
Mechanical & Electrical Integration
Coordination of mechanical and electrical elements at the
system or assembly level where required by an authorized
technical configuration.
Digital Integration
Integration of digital workflows, technical information,
data-support environments, and related enterprise systems in
coordination with appropriate Blevins technology functions.
Integration Verification
Technical review, documentation, interface checking,
configuration verification, and evaluation activities intended
to identify integration issues before operational deployment.
06
Supply Chain & Procurement
Dependable production requires a supply base capable of supporting
technical requirements, documentation, quality, delivery,
traceability, continuity, and applicable contractual obligations.
Supplier Qualification
Evaluation of supplier capability, quality, documentation,
capacity, reliability, and requirements relevant to the
applicable procurement.
Sourcing
Procurement planning, source identification, quotation
support, material coordination, and sourcing for authorized
requirements.
Traceability
Documentation and record practices supporting material,
component, supplier, and other traceability requirements where
applicable.
Continuity
Awareness of lead times, supplier concentration, material
availability, alternate sourcing, and other conditions that
may affect continuity.
Supplier requirements vary by program.
Vendors and subcontractors supporting defense-related work may
be subject to additional contractual, quality, information
security, sourcing, traceability, flow-down, eligibility, or
other program-specific requirements.
07
Research, Test & Evaluation
Blevins Defense may coordinate with Blevins Research &
Development and other enterprise functions to support early-stage
technical work, prototyping, testing, evaluation, and capability
maturation.
Applied Research
Exploration of technical approaches, materials, processes,
systems, and operational concepts relevant to defined
capability-development objectives.
Prototype Planning
Development of prototype objectives, technical configurations,
test articles, build requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Testing
Structured testing and evaluation intended to assess technical
performance, identify issues, support engineering decisions,
and inform subsequent development.
Capability Maturation
Iterative refinement of technical work based on testing,
engineering review, manufacturability, supplier readiness, and
operational requirements.
08
Program & Lifecycle Support
Defense capability does not end at initial production. Blevins
Defense is developing support functions intended to address the
broader lifecycle of authorized programs and technical assets.
Program Coordination
Coordination across technical, manufacturing, supplier,
contracting, documentation, and enterprise-support functions.
Configuration Support
Documentation of approved configurations, controlled changes,
technical revisions, and associated program records.
Sustainment Planning

supportability, modifications, and other lifecycle
considerations where applicable.
Modification & Upgrade Support
Technical and production coordination for approved
modifications, configuration changes, upgrades, or capability
improvements.
09
Regulated Operating Environment
Defense-related work may be subject to contractual, procurement,
export-control, information-security, cybersecurity, quality,
licensing, customer, facility, personnel, or other requirements
depending on the activity involved.
Blevins Defense addresses those requirements through the
applicable authorized program and contractual framework rather
than through generalized public representations.
Public information is intentionally limited where appropriate.
Certain technical specifications, customer information,
program details, security information, controlled technical
information, export-controlled material, proprietary data, and
other restricted information are not made available through
public website channels. Availability of any capability is
determined through the applicable authorized engagement.
10
